Being soothing and naturally pH-balanced, our Tonics are created with the purpose of lightly cleansing and toning the skin while minimizing the appearance of pores. This is a result of Witch Hazel, a powerful ingredient that draws the precious medicines from the plants resulting in a naturally vibrant-colored liquid full with active plant constituents beneficial to the skin. The subtle, sweet aroma of our Tonics, is a result of thoughtfully selected herbs each known to hold properties essential for healthy skin.The vitamin and mineral-rich botanicals in each type of tonic are selected specifically to support the mission of achieving a healthier, radiant complexion for individual skin types. Calm Tonic

Calm Tonic:

Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) with its antioxidant and astringent benefits for skin is well known to clear and tighten complexion.  Witch Hazel is used as medicine against inflammations, infections and tissue damage by sunburn. By action, the herb extract is cooling and pain-relieving on compromised tissues. Witch Hazel acts as a superior cleanser and tonic for dull and lusterless skin, fortifying it with vitamins and minerals necessary to return its youthful and radiant appearance.

Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) is well known for its benefits for the body and mind.  Both Chamomile German and Chamomile Roman are known as anti-inflammatory agents capable of addressing various ailments needing soothing and calming touch. Chamomile is a superb herb for sensitive skin, and its calming aroma also helps suppress anxiety and fussiness.  Chamazulene, along with other medicinal constituents in Chamomile German, is responsible for its healing nature making it a powerful antimicrobial and antibacterial agent, as well as giving Chamomile German essential oil its lovely blue color.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is known as one of the best tissue-mending herbs in nature.
